Iran eye to Europe to modernize its transportation system

Iranians and Belgians activists in the field of transportation have been met in Teheran so discussed on joint cooperation and investment on Iran's transportation field.

Gathering in Tehran's Parsian hotel, a group of Iranian activists in the field of transportation related to Tehran chamber of commerce Industries Mine and Agriculture (TCCIMA)and a Belgian delegation read the situation on Iran's transport system for cooperation to modernize it.

In a speech at the meeting TCCIMA secretary general of TCCIMA, Bahman Eshghi explained about goals and the different fields of activities of Tehran chamber and as a representative of transport sector presented the activities of TCCIMA on the field.

Aging transport fleet is one of the major problems of Iran's transportation so resolving the problem can take a major step toward stable development according to Eshghi.

Referring to high capacity of European and Belgian transport enterprises it's important for Iran to use of software and Hardware facilities of the Europeans especially Belgium to modernize Iran's transport system he said.

At the sideline of the meeting in a face to face talk the two parts considered the ways of joint collaboration in the transport field.
